I started playing the tenor horn when I was 13. I joined Milnrow Brass Band on 2nd horn. After staying with the band for 5 years I moved to Middleton band on Solo Horn. I stayed with them for 18 months. I had a short break from banding for about 6 months. I then joined Uppermill band where I was for 8 years. I started at Uppermill on 2nd horn and progressed up to 1st and then onto solo. I joined Eccles during the summer of 2008 on Solo Horn
