Area Test Piece Preview
On Sunday 26th February we will compete in the North West Regional Championships, to be held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
In preperation for this contest, we have been invited by Dobcross Silver Band to take part in an Area test piece preview evening at Dobcross Band Club.
This Area test piece preview will take place on Thursday 23rd February and starts at 8pm.
Entry is free and the following performances will take place
- Dobcross Youth Band conducted by John Parkes will play ‘English Folk Song’ Suite by Ralph Vaughan Williams
- Eccles Borough Band conducted by Mareika Gray will play ‘Olympus’ by Philip Harper
- Dobcross Siver Band conducted by Kenny Pain will play ‘Cross Patonce’ by Goff Richards
- Milnrow Band conducted by Mareika Gray will play ‘The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea’ by Derek Bourgeois
