Eccles Band Enjoy Succesful Whit Friday

Another wonderful Whit Friday was enjoyed by the Band with the added bonus of a First and two Second places in the 4th section. We came 1st at Carrbrook and 2nd at Scouthead and also Broadoak. We played the march O.R.B. at 8 venues finishing 16th Overall in Tameside. All that rushing about is always exhausting but nevertheless adds to the enjoyment of the night.

Val missed out on the trip due to a nasty virus but was entertained by several mobile phone calls of all the playing on the coach – everyone seemed to be playing something different, which added to the fun (and headache)!
