		<description>Hello Betty.
I started in the Band in 1954 but I don&#039;t remember your Dad. He may be on some of the photos we have in the Bandroom. Jack Piercey was a coalman and I also remember the late Wilf Hudson. We hope to see his sister Marjorie next Saturday. Wilf&#039;s son John lives and teaches music in Norway now. If you would like to have a look at some of our photos at the Bandroom, contact me through the website and I will arrange to see you there.Your Dad would also have known Bill Twigg, who played euphonium, who died recently.
Kind regards.

<description>So sorry to read the sad news ( although late) that the last band I played with before I joined the Army in 1977 is no more.

Happy days with the band</description>

		<description>Hello David

It is a very long time since we saw you. Only Jim and I still in the Band - I was Valerie Dale then. I can remember when the Band was on the band bus going to a park job and you and David Piercey were sat on the back seat reading comics, next to the tubular bells. When we came to play 1812 Overture we found out where the comics were, stuffed - up the bells. Happy days. I also remember the trip to Kerkrade and Schagen in Holland, so different to the modern band tours. You must come and listen to the Band some time. Do you still live in Urmston?

		<description>Hello Ralph

Good to hear from you again. There are not many of us left who were in the Band when you were with us.
