National Finals 2009

Over the last weekend of September, Eccles Borough Band were privileged to play at the fourth section finals of the National Championships of Great Britain.



North West Champions!

Eccles Borough Band are the new 4th Section North West Champions. The band came first in a field of 19 bands at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Sunday March 1st.



Eccles Retain Butlins 4th Section Title

Eccles Borough Band made the long trip to Skegness, Lincolnshire last weekend and once again came away with the winners title in the Fourth Section.



Congratulations to band newlyweds

The marriage of Miss Ruth Alison Hollick, our Solo Euphonium Player, to Mr Leslie Robert Webb, our Musical Director, took place at Woodford Methodist Church, Plympton, Devon on Friday 18th July 2008.

Eccles Band Enjoy Succesful Whit Friday

Another wonderful Whit Friday was enjoyed by the Band with the added bonus of a First and two Second places in the 4th section. We came 1st at Carrbrook and 2nd at Scouthead and also Broadoak.
